Former Foreign Minister Ebrardo, candidate for the Mexican presidential election, “possible to visit in 2024 or 2025”

Shouldn’t they be sure to come?”, and added ‘bts, btsarmy’ as hashtags (#) to make it look like BTSThe invitation was also presented as an election promise. Local broadcasters and daily newspapers such as Millenio, Telediario, and El Financiero also showed interest in Ebrard’s remarks, and reported comments on TikTok videos.
Ebrard, one of Mexico’s few representative “Korean-Koreans,” has served as foreign minister since 2018, when current President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador took office. Last year, he visited Korea to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Mexico, and in his recently published autobiography, he highly praised Korea’s competitiveness.
The race to elect the presidential candidate for Mexico’s ruling party currently includes former Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum and former Interior Minister Adan Augusto López. However, former Minister Ebrardo appears to be slightly behind former Mayor Sheinbaum in approval ratings. Mexico’s ruling party plans to conduct the first poll on the suitability of the presidential candidate around July or August, filter out the candidates through a cut-off, and decide on the presidential candidate through the second poll around December. Mexico’s presidential election will be held on June 2 next year, and the new president’s term will begin on December 1 next year.
