Attorney Min-seok Seo of the Haegwang Law Firm announced today (21st) that he submitted a faxed resignation letter for the former governor to the Suwon District Court.
In the resignation letter, it was reported that “Lee’s spouse has not stopped accusing him of false statements,” and “She resigns because she is unable to make a normal defense based on a relationship of trust.”
Previously, on the 24th of last month, Baek Mo, the spouse of former vice-governor Lee, submitted a report of dismissal to the Suwon District Court for lawyers Seo and other lawyers from the law firm Haegwang.
