It has excellent color accuracy and very wide viewing angles, so you can view it from any angle without loosing picture quality. It also has AMD Free Sync which ensures that there are no tears or choppiness to ruin your gaming experience.

The biggest drawback of AOC’s CQ27G2 monitor is its lack of ergonomic adjustability. The stand, which has a VESA-compliant mounting interface, offers tilt and pivot adjustments only.

The first thing that comes to mind is not enough USB ports for setup. The only other drawback with all of these monitors is that they are very expensive; they’re worth every penny, but it may be hard for some gamers on a budget to justify.

3. SAMSUNG 27-Inch CRG5 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor (LC27RG50FQNXZA)

Best Gaming Monitor For RX 580

  • 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution
  • 240Hz refresh rate
  • Supports AMD Free Sync
  • CRG5 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor
  • Super-fast 1ms response time

Finding the best gaming monitor can be a bit of a challenge, especially with so many options out there, ranging from budget-friendly to ultra-high-end.

The Samsung CRG5 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor (LC27RG50FQNXZA) seems to have found the perfect balance between price and performance with its WQHD 2560 x 1440 native resolution and brilliant curved screen, which provides an immersive experience that gamers will love.

This means you can play games in high resolution on a widescreen while getting clear, real-time images at fast speeds thanks to the built-in AMD Free Sync technology. You can choose to have no tearing or stuttering at all as your game’s frame rate drops or rises between 144 – 240 Hz. There is an audio input, but you’ll need to purchase a splitter in order to connect your gaming console or Blu-ray player. The monitor features HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, as well as a USB hub for peripherals such as keyboards and mice.
  • As a 27 full HD monitor, it can handle 16:9 content in its native resolution without black bars.  It supports AMD Free Sync and comes with 2 HDMI ports, 2 DisplayPorts, a VGA port, a headphone jack, and an audio line out jack. The bezel is thin at 3mm on all sides, which makes for an immersive gaming experience. It also has a response time of 1ms, meaning that there will be no ghosting when playing fast-paced games or watching action movies.

Overall,  very impressed with both build quality and design. The bezels are as thin as you could ask for, and it has an impressive stand that allows for height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments.

It also has a unique way of hiding cords by using a gap between its stand and base to run them. There are no visible screws anywhere on the monitor itself which make it feel high quality.

This gaming monitor comes with a super-fast 1ms response time, which makes the visual experience very smooth even when there’s fast-paced action onscreen.

It’s also worth mentioning that you will want to connect an audio source since there is no sound from a single HDMI cable. This is annoying but just a minor setback. The only other problem is that it doesn’t have any built-in speakers, which is something a gamer lover will miss sometimes.

It also had some difficulty setting up your PC at first due to poor directions, but luckily YouTube and friend help will save your time. Overall though, would recommend it to anyone looking for a curved gaming monitor.

  • Best for RX 580
  • Highest refresh rate

  • AMD Free Sync technology
  • On Screen Control
  • Dual-Link DVI with HDCP support

If you’re a PC gamer with an AMD graphics card, choosing the right monitor can be difficult; AMD Free Sync only works with monitors that support it, and many of those don’t have built-in speakers or other features you may want in a monitor.

If you love crisp picture quality and smooth gameplay but don’t want to break the bank to get it, consider the MSI Full HD Free Sync Gaming Monitor 24. The monitor has good picture quality and excellent gaming performance, making it one of the best value gaming monitors for rx 580 available on the market today.

  • The MSI Full HD gaming monitor 24-inch screen features a 1920x1080p resolution which is full high definition. It has a very quick response time of 1ms, which is faster than most monitors in its class. The DisplayPort input supports AMD’s Free Sync technology, which eliminates image tearing and stuttering while enhancing gameplay by synchronizing frames with your graphics card. With low blue light, flicker-free technology for reduced eye strain, and an anti-glare display to help reduce ambient light reflections, it can be used for hours on end without causing fatigue. This monitor also features built-in speakers that provide crisp sound quality without taking up desk space.
  • The MSI Full HD gaming monitor 24-inch screen can be tilted 5 degrees forward or 25 degrees backward so you can adjust it to suit your viewing preference or room setup.  The Design of Msi Full Hd Free Sync Gaming Monitor is attractive and stylish. A curved screen makes a monitor look good, but it also helps with immersion because you can view all four corners of your screen at once. The curve on the monitor is subtle, which will make looking at your screen easier over long periods of time.

The MSI gaming monitor is compatible with AMD’s RX 580 graphics card. It supports AMD’s Free sync technology, which means it can run games at a higher FPS than its refresh rate alone would allow. A high refresh rate also helps players react to quick movements in game play. As well as supporting AMD’s Free sync tech, it also supports Nvidia G-sync technology and 120Hz on both systems as standard features.

The monitor doesn’t have any notable drawbacks. It is a gaming monitor, and so it’s priced higher than most other non-gaming monitors. We don’t find that it lacks in any way for its pricing and experience, however, which is why we recommend it for anybody who wants to take advantage of Free sync technology at a decent price.

If you can afford a more expensive option, then by all means get one; if not, then consider getting one of these instead. It’s got everything you need from a gaming monitor with no extra fluff to drive up costs.

With a low blue light filter, you can work more productively without straining your eyes. These panels also have a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz which provides a lag-free experience even in fast action scenes.

While it has a very good refresh rate, one drawback is that it doesn’t come with a mount that can be used to install it on a wall. You’ll have to find an alternative solution if you want to put it on your wall.

On top of that, there are no VESA mounting holes so you can only use an aftermarket bracket or stand.  It does have a low input lag mode but even then, it’s still higher than most monitors in its price range.

  • Edgeless design
  • Ergonomically designed
  • Light in weight
  • Fast response time
  • Stunning refresh rate

  • It doesn’t seem super rugged

Note:The sceptre ips 24 gaming monitor provides high-quality images at an affordable price, making it the best gaming monitor for rx 580. It comes with all of your standard features, but it’s also a good option for high-end users as well. If you’re someone who is looking to make some upgrades on your home PC setup, don’t worry too much about sticking with 1080p go ahead and step up to 1440p instead.

6. Acer CB272 bmiprx 27″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Zero Frame Home Office Monitor

Best Gaming Monitor For RX 580

  • 1920 x 1080 27 Inch Screen
  • 1 ms VRB response rate
  • Zero frame design
  • Four gaming modes
  • Ideal viewing angle

The Acer Cb272 BMIPRX 27-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) monitor features an impressive list of features, including great color reproduction, fast response time, and wide viewing angles.

The monitor’s 2560 x 1440 resolution delivers fantastic color reproduction, plus it has Flicker-less technology to reduce eye strain. For fast action games like first-person shooters and sports titles, you’ll appreciate that this monitor also has AMD Free Sync technology, which syncs the monitor’s refresh rate with your GPU in order to eliminate motion blur and stuttering.

  • The Acer CB 272 includes a 1.5-inch backlit LCD panel and produces clear and distinct images to ensure that images, text and video are always easy to read. The slim border around the screen further contributes to its stylish look. With a resolution of 1920 x 1080, you’ll enjoy rich colors as well as vivid detail in everything from movies to photos and games. An integrated VGA webcam helps bring you closer to friends and family members who live far away. It also comes with an HDMI port so you can easily connect it to your HDTV for big-screen entertainment.
  • It is powered by an Intel Celeron Dual Core processor and has 4GB of DDR3 memory, providing fast performance when running multiple applications simultaneously. It also features a 500GB hard drive storage capacity for all your multimedia files such as music, videos, and photos.

The Acer CB272 is a well-built monitor that’s equally impressive from a design and aesthetics standpoint. This model features a well-executed ultra-thin bezel, which is something we’ve come to expect from newer monitors in 2016.

It makes for an overall sleek look that stands out compared to older models with thicker bezels. Features four gaming modes that optimize visuals for FPS, RTS, MOBA, and RPG games. A four-side frameless screen with ambient lighting lets gamers concentrate on the game, while an ergonomic stand tilts from -5 to 15 degrees and provides height adjustment so users can find their ideal viewing angle.

As nice as it is to have all that display space, there are a few drawbacks to having a monitor with such a high resolution. With more pixels being displayed on-screen, more processing power is required for smoother performance and reduced lag.

This means that your computer will require more power and potentially an upgrade in graphics card too if you’re using an older machine or one with minimal RAM and processing power.

  • Very good speakers
  • Allow screen split
  • Full HD resolution
  • Highly Affordable

  • Bad black uniformity

Note:The Acer CB272BI is a budget monitor that’s suitable for everyday computing and media consumption. It has a crisp and clean image, which we found to be quite adequate for daily use. Colors pop out while watching movies or playing games. Considering all these features, we recommend this monitor to all those games lover who needs a great display and pixels on the screen.

A pair of 3W integrated speakers are also included in its design. This allows you to use them without having to hook up any external speaker system if needed. ViewSonic’s VX2457-MHD is a competitively priced, attractively designed gaming monitor with responsive motion handling and excellent image quality. It doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as some monitors in its price range.

The ViewSonic lacks Free Sync support, a USB hub, or speakers but what it does have will appeal to many gamers: solid color reproduction, low input lag, smooth graphics performance, and a rich feature set. If you’re looking for an affordable display that can handle games at high refresh rates, look no further than ViewSonic’s VX2457-MHD.

You may be wondering what features you should look for in a gaming monitor you need something that’s going to last but isn’t overpriced and offers great value. The durable design can stand up to wear and tear and withstand regular use.

The ViewSonic VX2457-MHD monitor is great, and it doesn’t have many drawbacks. The only thing that we don’t like about it is its slim bezel and super sleek design which limits its compatibility with desk mounts.

The monitor is quite big so you may need to check your work area before buying it if you are a hardcore gamer.

  • Ultra-fast response time
  • Highly affordable price range
  • Vibrant picture
  • Sleek design
  • Flexible Connectivity
  • Comfortable gaming

  • Compatibility issue
  • Not support DVI connection

Note:If you’re looking for a dependable entry-level gaming monitor, ViewSonic’s VX2457-MHD is about as good as it gets for under $200. It delivers an enjoyable gaming experience with excellent pixel response times and an impressive 75Hz refresh rate. Best of all, its Free Sync compatibility ensures that no matter what game you choose to play, you won’t have to deal with any lagging or other visual issues.

8. LG 34UM68-P Ultra-Wide Monitor 34” Monitor

Best Gaming Monitor For RX 580

  • Ultrawide Monitor 34 IPS Display
  • 2560 x 1080 resolution
  • Adjustable Stand for Height
  • 75 Hertz Refresh Rate

A new kind of gaming monitor has hit the market, one that’s so long and wide you can feel like you’re playing video games on a movie screen.

The newest addition to this category is the LG 34UM68-P Ultrawide Monitor 34 21:9 IPS Display, which brings unprecedented picture quality, stunning design, and tons of features to give you an immersive and awesome gaming experience like no other. Is it as good as it sounds? Read our full review to find out.

  • The LG 34UM68-P Ultrawide Monitor 34 21:9 IPS Display monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio, fast 5ms response time, and extensive connectivity with 2 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort inputs plus 2 USB 3.0 ports and 4 USB Type-C ports, split-screen, flicker safe and more! This LG Ultrawide Monitor supports the latest video technologies, such as HDR10 and AMD Free Sync technology that can help to eliminate image tearing from your games so you can enjoy a smooth gaming experience.
  • The LG 29, 34, and 38 Widescreen Monitors offer a 35′′ viewable image size, 2560 x 1080 resolution. On-Screen Control allows you to conveniently adjust monitor settings with a few clicks of your mouse. Screen Split divides your screen into multiple segments for easy multitasking. Dual Linkup provides two different sources on one screen so you can work on two things simultaneously. Game Mode lets you see gameplay more clearly. Black Stabilizer reveals superior detail in dark scenes while Dynamic Action Sync reduces input lag so you can command faster reactions in-game without missing a beat.

WQHD, which is getting up there in terms of pixel density. This gives you plenty of space to use multiple windows side by side, which is probably why LG is promoting it as an entertainment monitor. But what about image quality? The colors were bright and vibrant, with no weird tinting or discoloration.

The screen was also bright enough that you didn’t need to have squint or turn-up brightness settings when using it indoors during daytime hours. It also has a matte finish instead of a glossy one, so it doesn’t reflect light from nearby lamps or overhead lights.

The LG 34UM68-P does not have any major drawbacks. We are big fans of displays with a greater refresh rate, but if you want to play games at a high resolution on an ultra-widescreen, then it is worth noting that you will be limited to 75Hz.

Having said that, 75Hz is still better than most monitors. You should also keep in mind that like most ultrawide displays, it has narrow viewing angles and poor brightness uniformity.

  • Quick response time
  • Good speakers
  • Affordable
  • Solid construction

  • The black uniformity is not great

Note: And since you’re already investing in one, it makes sense to go all out and get a good quality monitor that will last you for years. The LG34UM68-P delivers on that promise with its great features and usability.

Buying Guides – Best Gaming Monitor For RX 580

There are several factors to keep in mind when searching for the best gaming monitor for RX 580, but the following factor will be ensured so that you get the most bang for your buck:

Screen Resolution

1920×1080 or higher but monitor resolution and refresh rate should match. For instance, it wouldn’t make sense to buy a 4K monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate, since your computer may not be able to display 4K graphics at that speed. In that case, go for something like 2560x1440p instead.

Response Time

If you play games competitively, a monitor with a quick response time will be important to your performance. The lower your lag, or delay between input and visual response on screen, the faster you can react to things happening in-game.

Refresh Rate

The refresh rate is how many times per second your monitor’s image is updated. Refresh rates of less than 60Hz are common among LCD screens, while gaming monitors run at either 60Hz or 144Hz. The higher your refresh rate, the smoother and crisper your gameplay will be, though you do lose some screen real estate when you bump up from 60Hz to 144Hz.

Adaptive Sync/Free Sync

This one isn’t as big of a deal as it used to be. Free Sync monitors are becoming more and more common, and they’re often less expensive than their G-Sync equivalents. With that said, some people still prefer G-Sync because it seems more responsive in terms of motion handling—which is important when you’re playing games like PUBG.

Is RX 580 enough for 144Hz?

Though most gaming monitors have a 144Hz refresh rate, you’ll need more than just a powerful video card to use it—that is, unless you opt for a laptop with G-Sync. If you’re only looking at 1440p monitors, RX 580 should be more than enough. If you’re looking at 4K displays, however, which have even higher refresh rates of 60Hz and up, you’ll need to upgrade your graphics card if you want a monitor that can keep up.

Can a RX 580 play games in 4K?

Absolutely! But you will need a monitor that supports 4K. Some of our favorite gaming monitors currently on the market support 4K and refresh rates up to 144Hz, with G-Sync technology for a buttery smooth experience. The best part is many of these also have HDR (High Dynamic Range) capabilities, which makes colors and details pop like never before!

Is RX 580 still good for gaming?

Although RX 580 is past its prime, it’s still a capable graphics card. Most new games will run well with medium settings on 1080p (1920 x 1080) or even 1440p (2560 x 1440). Also, if you’re looking to play competitive games like CS:GO, DOTA 2 and Overwatch, you’ll find that having at least 4GB of VRAM is necessary.

Final Thoughts

It’s obvious that buying a monitor is not just about gaming. There are some monitors out there that can cost over a thousand dollars.  Choosing a new monitor should be as important as choosing any other major hardware components in your computer.

Do yourself a favor and take your time to shop around until you find one that fits your needs and budget perfectly. If you’re serious about your gaming, these monitors are some of the best gaming monitors for RX 580 options on the market.

And if you have any issues with them, Amazon is always a good place to turn in order to get your issue resolved. Amazon also offers some of these products in bundles that include an RX580 card, so be sure to check that out if you need one as well.
