Shin is suspected of injuring a woman in her 20s who was walking on the sidewalk while driving a Rolls Royce near Apgujeong Station that day. The car crashed into the outer wall of the building and stopped.
The woman suffered serious injuries, including fractured legs and severe injuries to her abdomen and head, and was reported to have undergone surgery at the hospital.
Shin said it wasn’t her drunk driving, but her drug quick test came back positive for ‘ketamine’. Ketamine, used as a general anesthetic, has analgesic and hallucinogenic effects, so it is sometimes misused as a drug.
During the police investigation, Shin stated, “She was treated at a hospital a few days ago, and her injections contained ketamine.”
